Charlie McClean is a Grammy-nominated producer, songwriter, mixer, multi-instrumentalist and activist, originally from the UK, based in Berlin.

Her versatile, genre-hopping expertise and inclusive, empowering approach to sessions make her a perfect partner for unlocking artists’ potential. She excels as a topliner and creator of emotionally authentic music. She trained in classical and jazz performance and composition, and is an accomplished orchestrator. Recent cuts include Diana Ross ‘I Still Believe’, produced alongside Jack Antonoff, remixed by Purple Disco Machine, written with Autumn Rowe, Ruth-Anne Cunningham and Violet Skies.

Recent co-writes and forthcoming collabs include Lauren Spencer Smith, Stephanie Poetri, James Hersey, Faouzia, Sam-Vance Law and Lxandra. She is the co-founder of sheWrites – a non-profit running professional song writing camps, dedicated to challenging the gender disparity in the music industry. Cuts from these camps including Leon’s ‘Come Home To Me’ and many more.

Charlie is an experienced sound designer, and is an in-house producer for acclaimed sample label 91Vocals. Recent and current syncs include Disney+, Apple, GHD and Volkswagen, and recent pop holds and forthcoming cuts include ITZY and GOT the beat.
